Mitchell Joachim's speeches expound upon his environmental take on architecture. Joachim supports the use of natural processes to create liveable environments with specific attention to organic construction. The natural use of trees in the formation of homes has seldom been explored, and the visionary has done an excellent job of leading the way.
Joachim graduated with a Ph.D. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology where he specialized in the school's Department of Architecture, Design and Computation. Prior to this, he completed a Master's of Architecture in Urban Design at the Harvard Graduate School of Design, as well as a M.Arch at Columbia University's Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation.
These insightful Mitchell Joachim speeches coincide with his current position as Associate Professor at New York University and at the European Graduate School. These posts follow his roles on the faculty boards of Pratt, Columbia, Syracuse, Washington and Parsons. In 2011, his dedication to design was recognized as he was awarded a Senior Fellowship with TED.
