In this social bonding speech, George Kohlrieser explains that it's important for leaders to be able to form human connections. Kohlrieser believes that it's up to a leader to get employees in the right mind set at work, which is done through embracing social bonding and encouraging questions.
Though he stresses that this is an important quality in terms of leadership, he also reveals that studies show that many people have trouble forming bonds with others. He claims that many of these socially challenged individuals are males in leadership positions. Kohlrieser describes these people as being driven and focused on numbers, but states that socially bonding with employees helps to overcome negativity in organizations, and leads to success.
