President Barack Obama delivered at keynote address at Hankuk University in Seoul, South Korea on March 26, 2012, during which he discussed global progress in the pursuit of nuclear non-proliferation. Present in the crowd during Barack Obama's speech was Korean-American Dartmouth College President Jim Yong Kim, whom the President recently announced he is nominating to become president of the World Bank.

Touching on discussions from the nuclear security summit taking place in Seoul at the time, President Obama lists the progress with nations such as South Korea, Japan and Pakistan who have taken steps to secure highly enriched uranium from smugglers and Mexico and Ukraine who have agreed to remove nuclear material from their territory all together.
