Rose Goslinga

The Rose Goslinga speeches educate audiences about the trials of farmers in Kenya, explaining the need for agriculture insurance in volatile conditions.

Goslinga graduated from the University of Amsterdam with a bachelor's degree before attending the School of Oriental and African Studies for a master's degree in political economy of development. She did field work in Africa, developing a London-based micro finance fund. She became an Overseas Development Institute fellow for the Ministry of Agriculture of Rwanda and initiated a drought insurance project. From this stemmed the creation of Kilimo Salama, where she currently is the Agricultural Insurance Initiative Coordinator.
