Rodney Brooks

As a former robotics professor at MIT, Dr. Rodney Brooks's keynotes focus on technology and robotics.

His fascination with the advancement in robot technology has pushed him to become the founder of various organizations including Rethink Robotics, formerly known as Heartland Robotics, as well as iRobot Corp. The machines created in both corporations concentrate on making groundbreaking products that can make a difference in people's lives, whether it be a contribution to the army or daily household items.

Dr. Rodney Brook's keynotes reflect the former professor's extensive knowledge in automatons. He graduated with a degree in Pure Mathematics from the Flinders University of South Australia and a Ph.D. in Computer Science at Stanford University and has conducted years of research in various labs. His research ultimately led to multiple papers published on artificial life and intelligence, computer vision, humanoid robots, planetary exploration and many more.
