The professor currently works as the CEO of Riipen, an organization dedicated to solving this problem. The educator is also a researcher in the field of social entrepreneurship and sustainability.
As mentioned in the Richard Tuck lecture, the speaker has earned a number of degrees, attending five universities on three different continents. This includes a bachelor's in international marketing and Spanish from Carlton University, an MBA in international business from the University of Alberta, an MSc in corporate finance from EDHEC Business School and a PhD in international management and organization from the University of Victoria. The Researcher and Vanier Scholar is also employed by the Gustavson School of Business at the University of Victoria. He has previous experience at Ombu Consulting, Capilano University and Synergy Sustainability Institute.
