Reid Hoffman

Reid Hoffman is the founder of the professional social media network LinkedIn and has given speeches on the importance of using social media for professional networking. Hoffman attended both Stanford and Oxford University. Hoffman worked at SocialNet, which led to his role in developing PayPal. Back in 2002 Hoffman co-founded LinkedIn, which has since become a widely used social network that makes recruiting easier for large companies.

Hoffman believes that social networking is ideal for business recruiting and also believes that it provides people with the opportunity to communicate with and learn from others in their chosen fields of work. He believes that social networking in the office can be helpful, but it also has the potential to hinder productivity depending on which platforms are being used.
