Ramez Naam is an experience technologist who has made speeches on technology and the spread of ideas. Naam was a part of the development team at Microsoft Internet Explorer and Microsoft Outlook. His title at Microsoft was Partner Group Program Manager in Search Relevance for Live Search. Naam also used to be the CEO of Apex Nanotechnologies.
Naam is also the author of a book entitled 'More Than Human: Embracing the promise of biological enhancement.' Ramez has a second book coming out in 2013 entitled 'Crux.' He is on the board for the Institute for Accelerating Change. Naam is also a member of the World Future Society.
Ramez Naam won the HG Wells Award for Contributions to Transhumanism in 2005.
