Speaker Paul Goldberger is an architecture critic and a contributor to Vanity Fair. Goldberger graduated from Yale University. Goldberger began his career as an architecture critic at The New York Times, which earned him a Pulitzer Prize in the mid-eighties.
Goldberger has written several books on architecture, on of which is entitled 'Why Architecture Matters.' Goldberger has given lectures and keynotes all over the world on the topics of architecture, historic building preservation and design. He has taught at the Yale School of Architecture and the University of Berkeley.
Goldberger was formerly the dean of the Parsons School of Design. He has given keynotes on the future of modern architecture, focusing on eco-friendly trends and compact dwelling spaces.
