Karan Girotra

Karan Girotra's keynotes glimpse upon the work he has done over his career as a professor of Technology and Operations management at INSEAD.

His research, which covers entrepreneurial systems, design and innovation, has been published in highly ranked academic journals. He has authored several books, his latest of which is titled 'The Risk-Driven Business Model: Four Questions that will Define Your Company,' and released with Harvard Business Press. In 2005, he helped found Terrapas Inc., a social enterprise that was named one of the most noteworthy ideas of that year by The New York Times.

Girotra won the Best Professor in the MBA program award, and finished as a runner-up for the best professor in the executive MBA program. He has won the Dean's award for excellence in teaching on four separate occasions.
