Technology as a Tool

Rather than getting disconnected from the cycle of innovation, we should be connecting passionate people, so they can get inspired, create and re-invent.

Many people have a love/hate relationship with technology because it is both the way we connect and disconnect with each other. Michelle Bazargan's connectivity talk explains how it is just an enabler or tool, and not the reason why we innovate. Technology and the internet of things can be how we innovate, but it is not a driver of human behaviour. Bazargan believes people are forgetting the essence of what creates a successful business -- people. Leaders should inspire employees to create cool things, and they will in turn inspire consumers.
