Jim Davies earned his degree in philosophy from the State University of New York at Oswego, and attended the Georgia Institute of Technology for his Master's in psychology and his PhD.D in computer science. He is a cognitive scientist who focuses on artificial intelligence, and he uses computer simulations to understand our visual imagination. Today, Davies works at Carleton University as an associate professor at the Institute of Cognitive Science.
