Caroline Heldman

Caroline Heldman launched her speaking career after graduating summa cum laude in Business Management from Washington State University and obtaining her Ph.D. in Political Science from Rutgers University. Her field of expertise is in power systems, the American Presidency included among them, and her professional experience includes private sector work as the general manager of Bio-Energy Systems and Consumer Health Science research manager.

Heldman's research has been published in journals such as the Journal of Politics, Political Communications and the American Political Science Review. Alongside those scientific journals, Heldman has also been featured in more accessible publications such as the New York Times, The Huffington Post and The Daily Beast. She also runs her own personal blog, and has appeared on programs such as MSNBC, RT America and Fox Business News. She served as an editor for the book "Rethinking Madame President: Is the US Ready for Woman in the White House?"

Over the course of her career, Heldman has collected awards and tributes for her relief work and political efforts. This includes a Gracie award for her broadcast work in the documentary 'Women in Government.' Heldman currently serves as the chair of the Politics Department at Occidental College.
