Langhi is a seasoned researcher in the field of Middle Eastern history and as such has an astute understanding of the region's political climate and civil needs. She is the co-founder of Libyan Women’s Platform for Peace (LWPP), which is a movement dedicated to female empowerment in a socio-political context. She advocates for women's leadership and in such capacity fought for the "zipper list," which ensures as many women are represented on election ballots in Libya as men.
She's also co-produced and presented a television program dedicated to the National Congress elections and Libyan democratic transition process.
