Sheena Iyengar's speeches are focused upon her views on decision making. Iyengar's pursuit of education led her to the University of Pennsylvania where she completed an economics B.S. and a psychology B.A. in 1992. She continued her studies in 1997 at Stanford University where she attained a Ph.D. in the social psychology field. Her involvement in academia continues to this day as a professor at Columbia's Business School.
