Third Wave Feminism

In this interesting video talk with author Naomi Wolf, she describes the current state of feminism in what she calls "third wave feminism" and discusses what makes it different from prevailing ideologies while giving an overview of some of its benefits. She says that one of its major points of differentiation is that this form of younger feminists are more pluralistic about sexuality, personal expression and fashion choices.

She also shows that these newer generations of feminists seem to be more aware of social issues regarding race and class, and that they are more engaged with using media as a form of power.
