As the founder of the independent record label Distort Entertainment and president of Twist Image, a digital marketing agency, Joel is familiar with the need to connect with an audience. For instance, transparency and honesty will become much harder to get around and companies will need to adjust to this.

Prior to his entrepreneurial career, Joel was a publisher/editor and music journalist of the music magazines Enrage and Arena Rock. He is also the author of 'Six Pixels of Separation.'
