Dr. Helen Fisher

The Helen Fisher keynotes examine the emotional and physical affects that love has on the human brain. As a Biological Anthropologist and Research Professor of Anthropology at Rutgers University, Fisher discusses the finding of a study conducted by her team and herself.

Fisher is considered a world expert on the topic of romantic love and relationships. Currently, she is the Chief Scientific Adviser at 'Chemistry.com' and a visiting research professor at the Center for Human Evolutionary Studies in the Department of Anthropology. Prior to this position, Fisher was a Research Associate at The American Museum of Natural History's Department of Anthropology. With regards to her educational background, Fisher earned her Ph.D. in Physical Anthropology from the University of Colorado.

Fisher authored a variety of books including 'The First Sex' and 'The Anatomy of Love.' With almost 30 years of experience, Fisher's lectures on evolution of human sexuality and gender differences in the brain and behavior were included at 'The World Economic Forum' and the 'Harvard Kennedy School of Government.' In conjunction, Fisher's written works were featured in publications like the Journal of Comparative Neurology and The American Journal of Physical Anthropology.
