Sam begins by stating that death is a very harsh reality of life, but it should not be lightened with false hopes or guarantees that religion presents. Death needs to be taught to children with the honesty of not knowing what happens, because otherwise people are learning to improperly deal with grief and death.
He admits in his death keynote that he would like to learn the fact that after one dies they meet all their loved ones and everything is okay. But he says this is just a theory and should not be taught on a wide-scale level.
