The Daylin Leach speeches discuss the ways American politics are taking democracy away from the people. The Democrat Senator represents the 17th Senatorial district. He received his undergraduate degree in political science from Temple University and his law degree from the University of Houston Law Center. He then practiced law in southeaster Pennsylvania for 17 years specializing in general litigation. As an adjunct professor at Cedar Crest and Muhlenberg colleges he also taught constitutional law, law ethics and First Amendment law.
Leach was elected to the General Assembly in 2002 on a platform of environmental protection, education, health care and political reform. In 2008 Leach was elected to the Pennsylvania Senate and serves as the minority chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee. This is in addition to his roles on the Consumer Protection and Professional Licensure, Education, Environmental Resources and Energy and Policy committees. The Daylin Leach speeches come from considerable expertise in the area of law and politics.
