Wanting to use photography for good, Jeff Sheng talks about how the visual medium can be a powerful catalyst for driving social change when it comes to taboo issues in his social justice keynote.
In his talk, the long-time social photographer and LGBT activist shares with the audience how he started his famous LGBT athletes 'Fearless' photo series in different high schools and colleges around the US to portray who they really were and try to break a stigma that these students constantly lived with. Guiding the audience through the 10 year project, the photographer proves in his social justice keynote that by sticking by his passionate mission he was able to become a driving force in the tide of social change dealing with LGBT issues.
