In this motivational keynote, MBA student Katie Hill discusses overcoming obstacles and specifically applies her tactics to the issue of climate change in the world today. She explains how many individuals perceive challenges -- either personal, professional or global -- as too overwhelming and monumental to even attempt to find a solution for. She aims to teach the audience that small does not equal powerless.
Hill recognizes a pattern among many individuals today: it almost seems that the bigger a problem is, where the outcome is perceived to be out of our control, the bigger excuse we make not to solve it. No problem is too big to be solved. According to Hill, it is our lack of motivation and fear of failure that continuously hold us back from realizing goals in life.
