George Slessman's feedback keynote addresses how criticism shouldn't be a difficult task to complete.
Delivering difficult feedback seems like a gruesome task, however, it is important to remember that feedback is simply information. Therefore, information should be delivered in the manner which it observed. If it happens to be negative, then that is more incentive to work harder. The information handed to employees is given in order to succeed and grow in the company, to make the employee better at the next stage of leadership.
It is important for both parties to realize that feedback is an important part of becoming better. It shouldn't be difficult and it shouldn't be taken personally, separating yourself from emotions will allow you to rationally accept criticism.
