In this short faith and science speech, Neil deGrasse Tyson discusses the relationship between religion and science. He claims that while many people seem to believe religious people and scientists are feuding, this is not the case.
Tyson says that the majority of religious people still embrace science. This doesn't apply to everyone, but it does to most. He also points out that many American scientists are religious. He claims that scientists aren't looking to disprove anyone's religion necessarily. He believes that because those who do believe that religion and science are totally separate are extremely vocal. This makes it seem as though it must be true, but Tyson says otherwise.
Tyson encourages people who are religious, people without religions, and scientists to coexist peacefully.
