Barack Obama is positively personable as he delivers an exhilarating commencement speech to the graduates of Arizona State University. He starts off by saying that he would like to embrace the notion that he has not yet done everything he would like to do with his presidency and with his life. Obama says that no matter your title, no matter your age and no matter what you have accomplished in your life, there is always more to do, more to learn and more to achieve.
As he warns the graduation class of the enormous struggles that lay ahead, he is also optimistic. In the face of these challenges, it may be tempting to fall back. He heeds warning to young people not to follow the cultural pattern of gauging success through material possessions. During this exhilarating commencement speech, Obama asks the graduating class of ASU to want more than celebrity; he asks them to strive for character.
