Post-Bureaucracy

In this David Cameron keynote, the British Prime Minister discusses how the politics of the developed world today are entering an era in which huge financial deficits are the norm. This being the case, he asks the audience to think about how governments today can make things better -- in areas such as public health care, education and police services -- without spending money.

Cameron believes that the solution rests within today's fast-moving information revolution; with the widespread access to information thanks to advancements in technology, a new sense of tranpsarency, accountability and choice is now available for the world's populations. He describes this era as 'post-bureaucratic.' With the right type of thinking, politics can be made over and re-structured without a large price tag.
