Pursuing a Passionate Life

In this Ben Dunlap keynote the president of Wofford College tells the story of Sandor Teszler, a Holocaust survivor who taught Dunlap the importance of a lifelong pursuit of education and passion.

While Dunlap himself has never had to undergo a traumatic experience such as the Holocaust, the message that he took from Teszler's story had such a profound impact that it had fundamentally changed Dunlap's approach to his own life.

The college president ends his keynote with a quote from Gandhi which says "live everyday as if it is your last and learn as if you'll live forever." Passionate about learning new experience irregardless of how challenging or hard they may be expands the human experience beyond the carrying out of routine and endows life with a grand sense of adventure and discovery.
