The Open Approach

In his speech, biomedical and clinical engineer Andrea Poli discusses the benefits of open source, open standard and interoperability standards within a hospital. Openly sourced information is communicating with open protocols when exchanging data. This allows for collaborative learning and faster rates of innovation. Interoperability are additional rules in sharing information to push forward the health care enterprise.
