Business speaker Wendy Kopp is the founder Chair of the Board of Teach For America. Kopp is also the CEO and Co-Founder of Teach For All. Teach For All is a network of independent nonprofit organizations, which basically bring Teach For America to other countries.
In terms of education, Kopp was an undergraduate in the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs program at Princeton University. In 1989, Kopp earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Princeton. Kopp originally pitched the idea for Teach For America in a thesis she wrote while she was an undergraduate at Princeton. Shortly after graduating, she founded the company. In 2007 Kopp founded Tech for All.
While Kopp as recently stepped down as CEO of Teach For America, she is still Chair of the Board.
