He is also an accomplished and award-winning author of twelve books, and hundreds of op-eds, articles, and book reviews, as featured in publications such as the Washington Post, TIME and the New York Times. He has received numerous awards and recognition; in 1988 he was named the 'Global Leader of Tomorrow' by the World Economic Forum.
