Scott Thomas

Taking on an enormous feat like designing the Obama Campaign of 2008, Scott Thomas delivers keynotes that show the audience how design is a fundamental element in nearly everything, and how it is a powerful collaboration tool.

As the Design Director for Obama’s 2008 campaign, Thomas's career skyrocketed in 2007 when he joined the New Media team on the Obama for America project. Previous to his work on the campaign, Thomas and five other creatives created The Post Family, a design collective to help designers of all kinds hone their craft. Before making the leap to graphic design and web development, Thomas was actually studying architecture.

Thomas authored Designing Obama, a book about the campaign and how the team behind it used branding and design for politics.
