Robert Kiyosaki

Kiyosaki was originally educated to be a marine and performed service as a deck officer and also as a gunship pilot. After being discharged from the army, he became a salesperson with Xerox. Leaving after a quick two years, the entrepreneur started his own nylon and Velcro wallet company. This venture was a bust as it went bankrupt. However, Kiyosaki found himself starting another business that licensed t shirts for bands, which was very successful and that he later sold. Kiyosaki retired at the age of 47 after coming across various lucrative real estate and private business investments.

Kiyosaki wrote 15 books, and is most famous for his 'Rich Dad Poor Dad' series, which acts as more of a motivational read rather than a technical one.

In 1997, Kiyosaki came out of retirement to launch Cashflow Technologies, Inc., which oversees his Rich Dad and Cashflow Brands. This is the project that is occupying his time at the moment.
