Richard Rumelt

The Richard Rumelt talk focuses on developing good business strategy. The author of 'Good Strategy/Bad Strategy: The Difference and Why it Matters' is also a professor of business and society at UCLA Anderson, which is a graduate school for business and management studies. He also authored 'Strategy, Structure and Economic Performance' and co-authored 'Fundamental Issues in Strategy: A Research Agenda.'

The Richard Rumelt talk focuses on competitive strategy and the anatomy of competitive advantage. In addition to writing and teaching business, Rumelt consults for a variety of companies, as well as non-profit organizations, several governments and the Department of Defence.

Rumelt is also the founding member of the Strategic Management Society and served as the organization's president from 1995-1998.
