The keynotes by Read Montague focus on the neuroscientist's studies and research on the human brain and social interaction between humans. Montague is primarily interested in the social interaction between individuals, decision-making and how these affect the well-being and health of people.
Montague earned his PhD in Biophysics from the University of Alabama Birmingham. He then held two postdoctoral fellowships and the Salk Institute and Rockefeller University. In addition to his impressive collection of degrees, his work has been published in a wide variety of notable scientific and academic publications and journals.
He is also the founding director of the Human Neuroimaging Laboratory and the Computational Psychiatry Unit of the VTCRI. The keynotes by Read Montague highlight the remarkable discoveries he has made in the field of neuroscience.
