Rafe Furst

The Rafe Furst speech on crowdfunding explains the benefits of people coming together collectively to offer financial support to start-ups. The angel investor got his start in Silicon Valley in the mid 1990s. For his ideas on unlocking shared value, he has been featured in publications such as New York Times Magazine, WIRED.com and Shake the World. He's mentored hundreds of innovators, social entrepreneurs and impact investors, individually and through incubators, fellowship programs and innovation communities.

The speaker wears many hats, as he is also an award winning video producer and poker player. He has also worked with the Prevent Cancer Foundation. He is most proud of this, but also curating Accelerating Possibilities and starting Personal Investment Contracts.
