Phil Gordon

Phil Gordon is an American author and a successful professional poker player. Gordon first entered the World Series of Poker in 2001. Gordon has written five books on poker including 'Phil Gordon's Little Green Book', 'Teachings in No Limit Hold'em' and 'The Real Deal.'

Phil Gordon has given a speech on his personal strategy for success, which he applies to the poker table as well as the business world. He breaks his strategy down into six points, which include aggression, patience, courage, resilience and the ability to evolve and work hard.

Gordon was on the Board of Directors for the Prevent Cancer Foundation and is also an active fundraiser for this cause. In 2011 Gordon joined the Libertarian National Congressional Committee.
