Peter Singer

Australian-born Peter Singer is a Professor of Philosophy who has given speeches on public ethics and environmental awareness. Singer received a B.A and an M.A from the University of Melbourne and he studied philosophy at the University of Oxford. He has been a visiting Professor at New York University and has taught at Universities such as Monash University and Princeton.

Peter Singer focuses on morals and public ethics in terms of his philosophy teachings. Singer is an environmental advocate who abstains from eating meat due to the high greenhouse gas emissions caused by meat production. He has been making donations to causes such as Oxfam for over 30 years. He encourages others to take steps to reduce their greenhouse gas footprints.
