Noah Diffenbaugh

The Noah Diffenbaugh speeches on climate change discuss the importance of constraining carbon dioxide emissions in order to avoid the extreme impacts of global warming and the need to move toward a carbon-free energy economy. The associate professor in Stanford's School of Earth Sciences and senior fellow at the Stanford Woods Institute for the Environment studies the climate system. The acclaimed academic has received several awards, such as the American Geophysical Union's James R. Holton Award and the National Science Foundation's CAREER award. He has also been recognized as a Google Science Communication Fellow as well as a National Academy of Sciences Kavli Fellow.
