Nina Tandon

The Nina Tandon keynotes discusse the potential that science has in organ replication. As a tissue engineer, Tandon works closely with technologies that will hopefully provide human beings with their essential organs.

Tandon is currently a Staff Associate Postdoctoral Researcher at Columbia University's Laboratory for Stem Cells and Tissue Engineering and an Associate Adjunct Professor of Electrical Engineering at Cooper Union. Prior to this position, Tandon was a Senior Fellow at TED, as well as an Associate at McKinsey & Company.

With regards to her educational background, Tandon earned her Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art. She earned a Master's in Bioelectrical Engineering from MIT and her Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from Columbia University. From there she went on to receive her MBA in Business Adminstration from Columbia Business School at Columbia University. Possessing an in-depth understanding of both technology and biology, Tandon is truly an expert in her field.
