Keynotes by Michael Norton focus on how the effective use of an individual's wealth can lead to the achievement of genuine happiness. Norton believes that through the act of giving back to others, an individual can improve their own attitudes, while also benefitting others. As an Associate Professor of Business Administration in the Marketing Unit and a Fellow at the Harvard Business School Norton has an intricate knowledge of the business world and the affect that wealth has on both individuals and business entities.
Norton boasts an impressive resume as he holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and English from Williams College and later he received his Doctorate in Psychology from Princeton University. Prior to his position at Harvard, Norton held positions at both MIT's Sloan School of Management and the MIT media lab as a Fellow. Due to his extensive work in psychology, Norton has been awarded with the 'SAGE Young Scholars Award from the Foundation for Social and Personality Psychology,' and was selected by Wired Magazine as one of '50 People Who Will Change the World.'
Norton, who has writing extensively on psychology, has been featured in numerous academic journals including the 'Journal of Personality and Social Psychology' and the 'Annual Review of Psychology.' Aside from his academic publications, Norton has also been featured in the 'New York Times' and the 'Economist.' Like his published works, keynotes by Michael Norton provide evidential proof that happiness can be achieved by wealth and it is the way an individual spends that wealth that ultimately determines their happiness.
