The Lin-Manuel Miranda talk on stories discusses two of the plays he was involved in creating: Hamilton and In the Heights.
Miranda wrote the book, lyrics and music for the Broadway musical Hamilton (which opened in 2015) as well as played the titular role. In addition to receiving the 2016 Pulitzer Prize in Drama, Hamilton also won 16 Tony Awards, the 2016 Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album and many more prestigious awards. As mentioned in the Lin-Manuel Miranda talk, his first Broadway musical In the Heights also achieved considerable success, including four 2008 Tony Awards and a 2009 Grammy Award.
The performer is the co-founder and member of hip-hop improv group Freestyle Love Supreme and has appeared in TV and film as well.
