Kal Penn

In his speeches, Kal Penn addresses a wide range of issues from a number of perspectives. Penn was born to Gujarati immigrants from India in New Jersey. He holds an undergraduate degree from the University of California, Los Angeles in Sociology and Film, a double major which would foreshadow his career as an actor and civil servant.

In terms of acting, Penn's debut was 'Express: Aisle to Glory.' However, he is most widely known for his role in 'Harold and Kumar,' 'National Lampoon's Van Wilder' and 'American Desi.'
