A graduate from the University of Wisconsin-Stout with a Bachelor's Degree in Science in Applied Mathematics in 1980, Pine went on to attend and graduate from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology's Sloan School of Management with a SM in Management of Technology in 1991. While attending MIT, Pine was awarded the Co-Winner of the Brooks Prize Competition for Thesis Excellence.
His past positions include various Management & Technical Positions at IBM Corporation until 1993. Currently Pine acts as a Visiting Scholar at the MIT Design Lab, Principal Innovator at Starizon Studio, Strategic Thought Leader at Stone Mantel and CoFounder of Strategic Horizons LLP.
His book 'The Experience Economy' was published to outstanding reviews and great success.
