Joseph Peter's speeches clearly demonstrates his undeniable passion for photography and commitment to spreading happiness.
Utilizing his talent for photography, Peter created a book of happiness in 2009 during the FIFA World Cup™ Trophy Tour by Coca-Cola, which took him across 50 African nations in just 75 days. He was able to capture a wide variety of stunning shots of African people smiling and enjoying the moment.
His book titled, 'The Book of Happiness: Africa' was given out to 2,500 global leaders at the 2010 World Cup Final in South Africa. A one-of-a-kind handmade edition of the book was given to Nelson Mandela and his gransons.
Peter's striking collection of photos prompted a campaign in 2011 to create an International Day of Happiness. The campaign was officially adopted on June 28th, 2012 by all 193 member nations, declaring March 20th the official day to recognize happiness.
