John Ellis

The John Ellis keynotes are from a scientific standpoint as he holds a Ph.D. from King's College in theoretical particle physics. He is an honorary doctor at both Uppsala University and University of Southampton.

John has been the recipient of many awards including the Maxwell Medal and Paul Dirac Prize from the Institute of Physics. On two separate occasions, John has won the First Award at an essay competition at the Gravity Research Foundation. He is also an Elected Fellow of the Royal Society of London and Institute of Physics. For his work with science and technology, he was appointed Commander of the Order of the British Empire.

The John Ellis keynotes are given alongside his position at CERN. He previously held post-doc positions at SLAC and Caltech.
