Jeff Nelsen's speeches are inspiring explorations of performance anxiety and fear that plague many individuals and they examine how to overcome that anxiety. In particular, he highlights where fears originate from, explaining how the choice to be fearful is an individual's own and outlines pointers to combat these fears.
Nelsen was born and raised in Western Canada and when he's not training people in 'Fearless Performance,' he is a Professor of Horn at the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music. In many of his keynotes he uses his anecdotes of his experiences playing with the New York Philharmonic and the New York City Opera Companies to explain performance anxiety.
Jeff Nelsen also gives his keynotes through distance learning and lessons including live video lectures. Prior to his current position, Jeff Nelsen was a faculty member at the faculty at the University of British Columbia, Victoria (B.C.), McGill University and the University of Toronto. Jeff Nelson's speeches give individuals the tools to overcome their fears and the motivation to push themselves out of their comfort zones and into the realm of 'Fearless Performance.'
