Dr. Sanjeev Arora

The Dr. Sanjeev Arora speech discusses how his clinic, Project ECHO, is improving healthcare for under-served populations in rural and developing communities as well as prisons. As the director of Project ECHO, Dr. Arora uses technology, a disease management model, case-based learning and a web-based database to arm primary care providers with the knowledge needed to treat those with complex health problems that would otherwise need to travel for medical care. Project ECHO (Extension for Community Healthcare Outcomes) was developed as a platform for service delivery, education and evaluation.
