Derek Lomas

His company, The Playpower Foundation, focuses on altering $10 computer systems into effective learning platforms that are cost effective and have the potential to greatly improve the earning potential of those who use them.

He is currently completing his Ph.D. at the Human Computer Interaction Institute and previously achieved an M.F.A. in Visual Arts from UC San Diego as well as completing his undergraduate studies in Cognitive Studies at Yale University.
