Dean Ornish

Dean Ornish's keynotes reflect an extensive understanding of the medical field. As Founder and President of the Preventative Medicine Research Institute, Ornish has displayed a lifelong committment to health care and continuing research and learning.

Educated at the University of Texas, Austin, where he got his Bachelor of Arts in humanities, he then attended Baylor College of Medicine, where he attained his MD, Ornish later attended Harvard Medical School, Ornish graduated in 1984 and has gone on to work as a Clinical Professor of Medicine at the University of California, San Fransisco.

An interesting fact about Ornish is that he has been Bill Clinton's physician since 1993 and has gotten him through some health struggles. Ornish's work has been featured in Newsweek, Readers Digest, and the Huffington Post (where he served as the medical editor).
