The David Muir speech shares several observations and lessons he learned as a news reporter. The journalist currently anchors ABC World News Tonight in New York City. He previously worked as the co-anchor of ABC's 20/20. He also substituted for World News with Diane Sawyer. The reporter began his career as an nchor and reporter at WTVH in Syracuse, New York. He went on to work in Boston at WCVB before joining ABC News.
He was educated at Ithaca College's Park School of Communications, graduating magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism. In his undergraduate career he also went to the Institute of Political Journalism at Georgetown University's Fund for American Studies and also studied at Spain's University of Salamanca.
